RESPONSIBILITIES
As a part-time firefighter (RiB), you respond when the alarm goes off, for example, in cases of fires, traffic accidents, medical emergencies, and other incidents. You are on standby at your station and train and practice regularly with colleagues. You receive training and continuously develop your skills to work safely and professionally.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be a part-time firefighter, you need to live and/or work so that you can report to the station within the agreed response time. You also need to be able to combine the role with your everyday life. This means that your primary employer must approve that you are on standby and can leave your normal job when an alarm goes off. The recruitment process includes tests and assessments, such as physical ability and suitability.
Who are you?
You do not need previous experience; the most important thing is that you want to help others and enjoy collaborating. You are responsible, remain calm when things get hectic, and have good physical ability and a clear safety mindset. You are also curious to learn and develop in the role. You can be on standby and report within the agreed time. A B driver's license is required, a C driver's license is an advantage.
